A royal commentator has cast her opinion on the Royal couple's recent woes saying how the couple's status has dwindled in recent months as Harry is set to pay £1.5m after losing Royal security claim
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are 'more like celebrities who get up to some very nice bits of charity' than Royals, a leading critic has claimed.
Daniela Elser has hit out at the Royal couple's recent woes and in particular Harry's mounting legal disputes that she says currently leaves him owing around £1.5million after he lost a case earlier this year about right to Royal security despite having left the family in 2020.
And Daniels explained just how much the Sussex's prospects have changed since they made the bold decision to leave the Royal family for the US in 2020, she said, writing for news.com.au: ”In 2020 when the Sussexes cleared out of Buckingham Palace it looked like they were about to knock the mouldy House of Windsor onto their pancake-like bottoms.
"The Duke and Duchess, I would have bet back then, were going to whip around the world, helping cure diseases and all but getting their own seat on the US Security Council as they helped make the world a better place."
But, despite the initial promise that she believes the Royal pair showed after their move across the pond their fortunes in recent times seemingly paint a different picture, she added: "Instead the Sussexes have ended up looking more and more like celebrities who get up to some very nice bits of charity too.
Boil it all down and what defines the Duke and Duchess are who his father is and how shoddily his relatives may or may not have treated them back in the 20 months they opened bridges for a living."
And she concluded by jokingly musing about whether there might be a way back for the couple as everyone awaits their next moves.
Then again, maybe the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will surprise us all because is there anything more quintessentially Californian than stunning career about-faces? A two-bit Western actor became President; an Oscar-winning actress built a company worth hundreds of millions of dollars selling vagina eggs.”
