Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal appears to be at the centre of a love triangle with his ex-girlfriend and an Italian influencer.
Yamal has hit the headlines in recent months after he failed to keep his many links to various influencers private. The 18-year-old reportedly dated a number of influencers, with one, Fati Vazquez, 12 years older than him, before seemingly settling down with Argentine singer Nicki Nicole, 25.
But after just three months, the couple reportedly split and Yamal jetted off to Milan following Barca’s El Clasico defeat, where he is said to have met Italian influencer Anna Gegnoso, 19.
Anna has 1.7million TikTok followers and over 700,000 followers on Instagram and is also a huge football fan.
She has previously attended Napoli matches and is a lover of Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who now stars for PSG.
Anna wore his shirt to matches and captioned a post of her wearing the shirt: “We were born to be real, not perfect” – : “You know that I love you.” But unfortunately for Anna, the winger married Nitsa Tavadze in 2023.
Reports in the Spanish media earlier this week suggested Yamal had secretly met Anna in Milan and cheated on Nicki with her.
Yamal denies the speculation of unfaithfulness but told Spanish journalist Javier de Hoyos that the couple have separated. “Lamine Yamal has just written to me,” the reporter said on showbiz programme D Corazon on La 1.
“This is an exclusive. Lamine tells me he and Nicki Nicole, who as you know was his girlfriend, are no longer together.
“But there are a few things he wants to clarify because in the last few days there has been a lot of speculation about whether he could have been unfaithful to Nicki or not.”
He added: “He’s cleared this up. He says they’re not together anymore and it hasn’t been because of any infidelity. We’ve simply separated and that’s it.
“Everything that’s been coming out has nothing to do with our relationship.
“Lamine tells me the trip to Italy has nothing to do with all of this, that he was no longer dating Nicki when he went and he hasn’t been with anyone else.”
Meanwhile, Nicki is reported to have confirmed to Spanish paparazzi about the split and went on to address the rumours about cheating.
Pap Jordi Martin said in a video he uploaded: Exclusive. Nicki Nicole has contacted me in the early hours of this morning and has told me she has split from Lamine Yamal.”
He continued to say: “I am going to read to you what Nicki Nicole has told me which is: ‘Hi Jordi.
“I’m not normally one to do this sort of thing but well, I just wanted to clarify that Lamine and I haven’t been together now for a few days, since I left Barcelona.”
“I’m telling you this mainly because of the infidelity rumour. I’m grateful to you for letting me know, but believe me, if someone were unfaithful to me, I would be the first to clarify it everywhere, just like I did in the past.”
