Man Utd ready to sell every player in massive Ruben Amorim transfer clear out

Manchester United failed in their only chance to salvage their season and breathe life into the transfer window as they lost the Europa League final in Bilbao to Tottenham

Manchester United will hold a firesale in the wake of their Europa League disaster in Bilbao.

United bosses will listen to offers for every single player this summer - including captain Bruno Fernandes. The crushing loss to Tottenham in the final saw United blow a place in the Champions League - and a £100m jackpot.

It means United will not be in European competition at all next season and face missing out on signing some of their leading targets, which include Liam Delap, Matheus Cunha and Victor Osimhen.

Due to crippling financial constraints, United have to sell to raise funds for Ruben Amorim to strengthen his squad - provided he survives the sack. And no one in the United squad will be spared, provided the price is right.

It means high-profile stars including Casemiro, Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw, Andre Onana, Alejandro Garnacho, Rasmus Hojlund and Fernandes will be sold to the highest bidders.

While United are also desperate to offload Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho, who have been on-loan at other clubs this season.

Rashford is desperate to leave following a complete breakdown in his relationship with Amorim and the club, and is holding out for a move to Barcelona. It appears unlikely Rashford will return to Aston Villa again next season, despite the Champions League-chasing side holding a £40m buy option.

Garnacho, who was left seething at being left out of the starting XI to face Tottenham, is attracting interest from Napoli and Chelsea. Speaking after the game, Garnacho snapped: “Obviously it’s hard for everyone. Our season was s***. We didn’t beat anyone in the league. We lacked a lot of things. When you don’t score goals, you always need more.

"Until we reached the final, I played every round. And I played 20 minutes today - I don’t know. I’m going to try to enjoy the summer and see what happens next." The Argentine has a £65m price tag slapped on him this summer.

While Sancho will return to United this summer, with his Chelsea future looking in doubt, but will be offloaded because he is one of the club's highest-paid stars. Under the terms of Sancho's loan obligation, Chelsea have triggered the necessary clause to activate a £25m buy option, but the Blues still hold a £5m escape clause they can pay United to cancel the deal for the flop.

Co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS cronies, including Sir Dave Brailsford, will oversee the massive squad overhaul this summer.

The United squad will embark on a gruelling post-season tour of Malaysia and Hong Kong straight after Sunday's final game of the season against Aston Villa at Old Trafford. But upon returning to Manchester, club bosses will begin the huge task of selling all those deemed dispensable.
