Swingathon organiser reveals mass 40-person orgy in tent with condoms strewn 'everywhere'

Swingathon revellers participated in romp-related games such as 'butt plug bingo' as others were seen strolling around a filed just outside of Allington almost naked and in full bondage gear

A woman who helped organise Britain's biggest sex festival has lifted the lid on what really goes on at 'Swingathon' – including forty-person orgies.

Swinger and DJ Kerry Voellner was among a thousand kinky revellers who descended on the sleepy village of Allington, Lincs., over the weekend. The 46-year-old has now shared details of the sex games including "butt plug bingo".

Guests also got to enjoy play tents, pole dancing, hot tubs, foam parties and mobile dungeons at the festival, which is now in its fifth year. Kerry, who runs adult alternative lifestyle venue The Lifestyle Lounge, which sponsored the event, said Swingathon "certainly lived up to its name".

She said some festivalgoers wandered around naked or in bondage gear and engaged in sex demonstrations – while others participated in a "40 person orgy" in one of the tents. Organisers had said they were committed to challenging the "sleazy and seedy" stigma around the festival and Kerry said it was "safe, friendly and fun".

Kerry, who also DJ'd at the event, said: "I was working this weekend so I didn't have any sex but I had the time of my life. There were play tents and hot tubs, and we hosted butt plug bingo and 'Kerry's Kinky Quiz'. There was a 40-person orgy in one of the tents as well as sex games.

"There's no standard festivalgoer – there were people of all ages – and some people walked around naked while others were in sexy lingerie or jockstraps. One woman even came dressed as a big vagina.

"But it's all normal for us in the swinging world, the vanilla world is too straight-laced for us. I like the freedom – and when you have a big group of people all with the same mindset, everyone can just be themselves."

Kerry said while there were big orgies, there were also couples in attendance who had been married for years. And there are lots of informational aspects too – talks, demonstrations and discussions around different ways to enjoy swinging and sex.

Kerry was in attendance with friend Nykolas Shipway, 30, a drag artist and entertainer. Nykolas, who performs under the stage name Gutter S***, said: "There was a fetish area where they gave demonstrations and talks.

"They covered wax play and even shibari ropes [for suspension practices]. There were condoms everywhere – more condoms than coffees."

Kerry and Nykolas set up a mini 'Lifestyle Lounge' – using equipment from Kerry's venue back in Manchester. Kerry said: "We took a gazebo, a bondage table, and Nykolas built a glory hole."

And they also hosted 'butt plug bingo' – said to be a fan favourite back at her venue. Winners claimed butt plug sets as prizes, while forfeits included couples having to eat a banana and meet in the middle, Lady-And-The-Tramp style.

Kerry added: "There were lots of boobs and nipple sucking too." But despite it's controversial image, Kerry said there are lots of misconceptions around swinging.

She said it was mandatory that everyone attending had to show proof of a clean STI test before attending which is standard practice within the swinging community anyway.

Kerry said: "It's all very clean and hygienic. And there are condoms in every room, it's not accepted in this lifestyle not to wear one. It's a standard."

While the event has seen criticism before, she said it was sound-tested to avoid disturbing local people living nearby. Kerry added: "People do like to moan.

"But this year some people from the village came too. I think attitudes might be changing. We encompass anyone with a lifestyle out of the ordinary and we welcome them.

"People that come are just people who like to live life sexually free." After this year saw the biggest turnout ever, with around 1,000 tickets sold, Kerry said they'll be back again next year.

She said: "It's been three days of utter enjoyment and freedom, even if you go alone, people will come and talk to you. Everyone lifts each other up and women inspire each other.

"It's about people being themselves and being free."
