The cause of the brawl has not yet been confirmed, but the shocking footage clearly shows it was more than just a mild disagreement, with tradies seen punching, kicking and using helmets as weapons

A film capturing a mass brawl between two groups of Aussie tradesmen at a Sydney construction site has left viewers shocked.

The footage shows dozens of men, all clad in yellow and orange high-visibility jackets punching, kicking and grappling with each other at a roadworks site in broad daylight. At one point one of the men takes off his hardhat and begins whacking rival tradies with the headwear.

In the background, bystanders can be heard calling for the violence to stop, and at one point in the clip a voice offscreen appears to call for the videographer to stop filming.

Sydney police are investigating the incident, and stated that the altercation involved more than 20 people and took place shortly after 7am local time.

By the time police arrived, most of those involved had fled. Paramedics treated two men, aged 43 and 55, for minor injuries before taking them to hospital for further checks.

The reason for the fight remains unclear, though investigators believe the violence involved two opposing groups of workers.

Authorities are appealing for witnesses and urging anyone with information or dashcam footage to contact local police or Crime Stoppers.

While the Aussie police are no doubt taking the incident seriously, that hasn't stopped social media from having a laugh.

One user on the site X joked that they hoped to see the brawl 'added to the Olympics', while another commented that the video showed what happened if you got rid of HR.

Meanwhile, Ibiza's famed party scene took a wild twist this weekend when a poolside brawl broke out at a hotel, with one man being hit by a flying chair in the chaos.

The incident was captured on video and shared on Instagram by @sanantonioibiza, showing a heated altercation at the popular Marco Polo hotel in San Antonio.

What started as a typical sunny day by the pool quickly descended into bedlam as a group of holidaymakers got involved in a full-blown fight, leaving onlookers and social media users stunned. The footage shows several people wrestling and slipping on the wet poolside tiles, adding to the chaos.

In the midst of the commotion, a man in blue shorts is seen throwing a chair towards others already in the pool. A woman in a black bikini stumbles into the fray and falls, while two others trip over chairs.

A lifeguard tries to intervene and block the thrown chair but fails, as the situation continues to escalate. More hotel staff rush over in an attempt to restore order.
